The gifts he gave were that some would be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ. The worship ministry team seeks to enhance the Worship Experience through Creativity. It is a team composed of creative persons who envision the Arts as part of worship (crafts, decorating, dance, music, poetry, skits and plays, song, pageants, etc.). This ministry team seeks to create an experience in worship in which people experience God.
Centered on Teaching, learning, Fellowship, support, community ministries, and accountability. Building knowledge of the Bible and the Christian faith. Providing opportunities for Practicing skills for faithful Discipleship, including worship, faith sharing, spiritual Discernment, Bible study. Includes Sunday School, Youth Group, Young Adult Groups and Adult Groups.
Outreach is first and foremost Invitational: How are we collaborating with the Community in which we live and how are we being invitational to those who are unchurched? Missions are first and foremost Evangelical: How are we sharing the Gospel in the communities in which we live? Secondly, missions serve to Feed, Clothe and Shelter those in need.
Prayerfully and Scripturally identify, develop, deploy, evaluate and monitor Christian faith leadership for the congregation. Leaders shall engage in biblical and theological reflections on the mission and ministries of the church providing a means of identifying the spiritual gifts and abilities of members in the church.
Maintains a healthy and growing personal spiritual life and leads other members to do the same. Engage in biblical and theological reflection about the mission of the church. This ministry team, along with the pastor, has the primary responsibility for the appointed and paid staff who lead the vision and mission of the church.
Vested with authority and power in matters relating to the real and personal property and equipment of the church. Responsible for the annual review of adequacy for church insurance coverage. When granting permission to outside agencies to use of property, the external organizations’ use shall be consistent with the Social Principles.
